You are involved in decision making for your wound care and we always consider the whole person in our decisions regarding our care.
Where required or requested, there are other services that can be utilised to aid in providing the care you need.

How to book:
On direction from your doctor or nurse, you will need to call the practice to make an appointment for a dressing.
Cost:
There will be a cost for the doctors attendance to check on the process of your wound healing; if you are a Medicare eligible patient you will receive a refund from Medicare for this part. You will be charged for the consumables and sterile equipment used on the day,; depending on the size of the dressing this can be between $5 – $60 out of pocket.
