Lakeisha Strawhorn – Podiatrist

Lakeisha is from a small country town on the Murray river in Victoria. Since graduating in 2020 from La Trobe University Bundoora, Lakeisha has worked in clinics in Perth, Kalgoorlie and now Geraldton. Lakeisha’s special interests within Podiatry include biomechanics and musculoskeletal presentations. Lakeisha also has experience with sports footwear after working at Active Feet, a Podiatrist run sports shoe specialist in Melbourne. Lakeisha has always loved being in nature and in her spare time loves getting outdoors, playing sports, and enjoys hiking and camping! She also enjoys playing and listening to a diverse range of music.
Lakeisha is passionate about helping people and is looking forward to empowering and encouraging everyone to be able to achieve their foot health goals, and to keep you doing the activities that you love.
Michael Minkarious – Physiotherapist

Michael has recently moved from Perth to start his new life in Geraldton with its vibrant and laid-back coastal atmosphere. He found it a great place to stay while exploring Western Australia’s Coral Coast and Wildflower Country. He was born in Cairo, Egypt and migrated to Australia 16 years ago to further develop his Education and enjoy his new live in a historical land of diverse cultures and breathtaking landscapes. Michael graduated from University of Curtin as a Physiotherapist, since then he has worked in different hospital settings, private practices and nursing homes.
Michael is currently treating at Panaceum Medical (Allied Health group). He enjoys reading and being up-to-date with the highest evidence-based practices, therefore anatomical and medical topics have always been occupying his mind and sparkling his interest in Physiotherapy.

Our training focuses on achieving long-term lifestyle behaviour changes for our patients.’ Sam’s approach is patient-centred and evidence based, where he assists the patient in setting and achieving goals. Treatment is mainly aimed at education, teaching management skills and specific exercises tailored to individuals.

Shavaughn Baynton – Exercise Physiologist
I have a special interest in neurological and metabolic conditions, and I believe very firmly in using an individually tailored approach to every single client that I see. I also enjoy providing my clients with the information, knowledge and behavioural change strategies that they need to successfully engage in a healthier and more physically active lifestyle.
I am currently completing my master’s degree by research in exercise science at Murdoch University. My project focuses on the delivery of an internet-based exercise program using telehealth to Australians nationwide living with multiple sclerosis, a chronic, autoimmune, neurological disease. This is an area of personal significance to me as I was diagnosed with MS at age 22. My motivation and passion for using exercise to improve the health of my patients stems from my own personal experience of using exercise to help me manage the disease, and I use my experiences of living with a chronic illness and my knowledge of physiology to help others to do the same.
Stacey Berg– Physiotherapist

Relatively new to Geraldton, Stacey returned to study physiotherapy
after a career in the WA mining industry, studying in Victoria and then vowing
to never return. Stacey has spent her years since working in private clinics,
communities, remote locations, detention centres, mine sites, via telehealth
and from home. Stacey enjoys connecting with her clients and handing over the
knowledge to their success, with special interests in musculoskeletal
conditions, chronic pain and would like to continue expanding her skillset and
knowledge into women’s health in the coming years. Outside of work, Stacey
enjoys the outdoors and being in/around the ocean, where a lot of her hobbies
lie. Recently taking up droning , she is open to ideas around how this can be
utilized in physiotherapy so her new expensive hobby can be claimed on
