Don’t neglect your healthcare these days! You can “see us” another way without stepping out of your door, in a “virtual consult”

Are you not feeling the best? Careplan needing an update? Or your routine appointment is due? Don’t put it off, is the message from the Minister of Health and your Doctor! Did you know you can now do a lot of these things, including Careplans, without coming out to visit us, via a “telehealth” appointment?

What is telehealth? It is just a name for a doctor’s appointment that is not physically face to face. At the Panaceum Group we can do this either via your telephone or by a “video link”.

A “video link” uses common technology enabling us to “see” each over a computer, tablet or smartphone (i.e. Apple iPhone or Samsung mobile phone). We call them “virtual consults” because you will virtually come for your visit at your appointment time, be virtually checked-in at the front desk by our receptionist, and then “seen” by your Doctor!

Virtual consults are very easy! We will send you by email or SMS a web link address that you simply click on to follow, no downloading necessary! You can read more about what to expect with a video consult on our website. Any prescriptions and pathology requests will be emailed straight to where you need them.

Our Doctors are making the most of this technology for routine appointments like renewing prescriptions and referrals too, so if you call us to request a renewal you will be made a telehealth appointment. You can book a repeat prescription appointment online via our website.
