What is Shoctober? Shoctober is a national recognised program in October, to increase the awareness of Defibrillation for individuals and in the workplace. COMING SOON!   Panaceum Group is excited to announce that as part of its commitment to its patients and its continued investment to the Midwest Community that University Medical Practice will be relocating and will be renamed to   “Panaceum Seacrest”   A purpose built, multidisciplinary family medical centre is under construction at the new Woolworths shopping centre in Wandina, 75 Barrett Drive. The practice will be home to General Practitioners, Allied Health services and onsite pathology for our patients convenience. New patients are welcome! Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

June is bowel cancer awareness month to raise public awareness of a disease that claims the lives of 80 Australians every week. Australia has one of the highest rates of bowel cancer in the world. 14,962 Australians are being diagnosed with bowel cancer each year with 13,647 (or 91%) of whom are aged 50 years and over. It effects both men (55%) and women (45%).
