Family Doctor Week 2013: support your local GP

Your family doctor (or GP) is central to your care. Family doctors want to give you high quality care throughout your life! Providing quality patient care has become difficult in recent years. The current fee structure puts considerable pressure on patients and GP practices. The government will not increase the Medicare rebate this year. Support your family doctor by speaking to your local federal member of parliament!

Physio & fitness classes at the doctor’s surgery

The new Panaceum Injury Management and Fitness Centre offers a range of exciting physiotherapy fitness classes. Clinical Pilates Pilates exercises performed using traditional Pilates spring loaded machines including reformers. Clinical Pilates has a strong emphasis on correct diagnosis and treatment of pain and injury, optimal postural alignment and biomechanics and is very effective in injury rehabilitation and prevention. The Clinical Pilates Program is carefully structured, beginning with an initial biomechanical assessment by a Physiotherapist to identify the clients strengths, weaknesses and personal goals.
