The award-winning Panaceum facility is a result of long term vision, hard work and a full-on commitment to Geraldton. Federal Health Minister Nicola Roxon visited our facility in 2009.

Our Travel Clinic Vaccination Service has been awarded Best New Clinic 2010. The Geraldton Medical Group was Training Practice of the Year finalist in 2009. Also in 2009, the Panaceum facility received the 'Excellence in Universal Access Award'. Panaceum building has received other awards like the Commercial/Industrial Building Award.

What does the word 'Panaceum' mean?
Panaceum is derived from ‘Panacea’. In Greek mythology, Panacea was the goddess of healing. She symbolizes the power of treatment of all diseases. This brought about the concept of the panacea in medicine, a cure-all, either physical medication or a solution to a problem. Read more
